The Logan City residential land market, has been buoyant in the 12 months to March 2016.
Median values for both vacant land and house & land packages, continued their upward momentum, whilst the median $/m² paid for land reached a new high of $434/m².
Sales rates reached their third highest level since 2008, with House & Land Packages surging 37.6% from the previous year, which reflects the current market trend towards these packages.
There was also a high level of development activity, with 105 land projects being recorded, and 2,520 lots being approved, which whilst down on the previous year was still the third highest number of approvals since 2008.
Logan City provides 9,910ha of land suitable for residential development, with potential to deliver up to 104,000 dwellings, representing an important growth corridor of South East Queensland with significant scope for future residential land development opportunities. This corridor accounts for 38.5% of South East Queensland’s current developable land.
